TRINITY’S FINANCIAL SIGNPOSTS
Signposts point the way or direction

As
you will be already aware, a 2011 deficit of $8,000 was budgeted.
Now, happily, as a result of a most satisfactory conclusion to
the new Ministry Team Search Committee’s recommendations and Offering
Income being at the level of our 2011 Budget the present TUC Financial Signposts point to a Break Even or small Surplus.
Signpost Data:
- Offerings: to May are running to our Budget, which was set at 2% (the rate of inflation) higher than 2010
- Fundraising: the hugely successful show ($3,400) and the annual Garage Sale ($1,200) have kept our fundraising income at the expected level
- Expenses: have been well controlled and been able to cover an unexpected repair at Trinity House
Signpost Action:
- It has been due to our ever loyal congregational support and the considerable efforts of our temporary Ministers, Rev. Elizabeth and Rev. Peter, that we have minimized any loss of financial momentum during the current ministry team vacancy and look to be able to welcome our New Team with a properly resourced Trinity community.
- Offering Changes: although our finances appear to be reasonably sound at present it is nevertheless prudent to periodically review our personal support so that we all can play our part. Therefore:
- Please consider whether it has been some time since you last adjusted your Regular Offering (eg Envelope or PAR). It still costs about $30 per week, per regular giver, to provide the Trinity Ministries of Worship, Pastoral Care, Outreach and Christian Education.
- As your Income Tax is reduced by over 40% of your Offering, as a Charitable Donation, if not already doing so, please consider adding this tax saving to your Trinity Offering
- Summer Interruptions: during the upcoming Summer break please try to maintain your financial support as Trinity offers a 52 week ministry
We hope that these Signposts and your continued valuing of all the Trinity Ministries and Way of Life combined with the soon arrival of the talented and exciting Rev. John and Rev. Gaylyn will continue to strengthen our Trinity family.
